Happy New Year!

Well, the snow finally came. Not a white Christmas for us, but at least we get a white New Year. And even though the snow wasn't falling, we have been off the water since October.

Off the water, but still rowing.

Thanks to our coaches and our Clubhouse Stewards who are opening the doors to the clubhouse for open erg times while it is too cold to put a boat in the water. It is important to keep your fitness and your form in shape during the cold months, and the erg is one of the best ways to do it. You (and your boat mates) will be happy you did come spring!

I don't believe in New Years resolutions. I believe that if you want to accomplish something, you shouldn't wait for an excuse to do it. Just do it!

So whether you believe in New Years resolutions or not, make it a priority to keep yourself in shape and to stay healthy this year. Start now and add some erg sessions to your schedule. It's fun AND it's good for you.

"Another hour on the erg; after a while, this monastic existence becomes familiar and almost comforting. I feel like every day is spent more carefully; when I do go out with friends, the experiences are much more meaningful, thanks to the structure placed upon my life." -- Alessandra Phillips

Cheers to health and happiness in the New Year.
Row on!
